Election Day
The Fence Town Hall is the polling place for the Town of Fence. Polling place hours are 7 AM-8 PM on the day of the election.
New Voter Registration
You may register to vote by mail by sending a completed form to the Town Clerk/Treasurer, online or on election day. Proof of residence and
identification are required.
We must have the following information:

WI Driver’s License Number
•
Your name as it appears on your driver’s license
•
DOB
•
Address
•
Phone Number
•
Previous Address
It is possible to mail in a voter registration, but when at all possible it is easier and more accurate to register in person. If your voter registration

Requesting Absentee Ballots
A request for an Absentee Ballot allows you to vote prior to election day. The last day ballots can be mailed out is the Thursday before an
election, but you may absentee vote at the clerk/treasurer’s office by Absentee Ballot up until 5:00 PM on the Friday preceding the election. Click

To Absentee Vote you must be a registered voter. Then either fill out a Absentee Ballot Application or submit in writing to the clerk/treasurer’s
office a request stating your name, your registered address, the election in which you are requesting the absentee ballot, and where you want
your ballot mailed to if different than your registered address.
Absentee applications are also available by contacting the Town Clerk/Treasurer.
